Look after Body — It's where you live

6th September 2008, North Shore Wellness Fair — Lynn Valley and Parkgate Library

This interactive workshop explores how humor, laughter and playfulness are essential to health. We will discover how an optimistic and flexible lifestyle keeps us young at heart as we age.

Physiotherapist, Cathy Russell will give you a basic understanding of how stress affects the physiology of the body and by the end of the workshop you will have tools to loosen up, brighten up and live life "LARGE".

  1. Humor is "The Spice of Life" and the shortest distance between two people. Organizing fun activities throughout the year keeps us feeling happy and alive.
  2. Laughter - Physical activity can be fun and is the 1st key to happiness, decreasing pain, enhancing communication and connecting with people.
  3. Playfulness-Grandparents have an excuse to be childlike. Take a risk and reconnect to your playful inner child today.
